On 7th November 2024, Malek Fahd Islamic School had the honour of welcoming the Grand Mufti of Australia, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Mohamed, to our campus. Our Greenacre executive team—including Principal Dr. Zachariah Matthews, Head of Primary Mr. Arabaci, Head of Secondary Mr. Merheb, School Chaplain Sheikh Fawaz, and Director of Faith Sheikh Khaled—warmly received Dr. Abu Mohamed and guided him on a campus tour. During his visit, he explored our Musallah and classrooms, connecting with the heart of our school community.
Dr. Abu Mohamed also visited Greenacre Primary, where he met Palestinian students from Gaza sponsored through MFIS. His presence was an inspiring experience for our leadership team as he shared invaluable insights on faith, resilience, and the pivotal role of education in shaping future generations.
This visit reaffirmed our commitment to the values of Faith, Excellence, and Service. We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Abu Mohamed for his time and presence, which has left a lasting impact on our school community and strengthened our dedication to our mission and values.
